Talking to your kids about the coronavirus
While COVID-19 has been a concerning situation for adults, it’s also an extremely confusing time for children. Their school has closed, their regular spring break activities have been canceled, and they are stuck indoors more, likely leading to feelings of frustration and perhaps some anxiety.
If they haven’t already, they will eventually hear bits and pieces of information on this virus and will be looking to you for guidance. As a parent, how can you best help your little ones cope with the fear and worry they may be experiencing?
