Opioid Overdose Response Training

In the start of the year, St. John Ambulance BC & Yukon secured funding from the provincial government that allowed us to train up to 5,000 BC residents for no-cost on how to reverse a suspected opioid overdose using the lifesaving drug Naloxone.

Now as an official St. John Ambulance course, this training continues today, allowing us to have a part in creating safer communities and reducing stigma and discrimination towards the opioid crisis.
